Albania used to be what was called Illyria and it is believed that Illyrians have been on that area since the beginings of the Roman Empire. There is a of of speculation about this beacuse it is hard for people to believe that a small place like Albania has such a long history. To be honest, I read a lot of history, and I have never read about Azerbajanis coming from Caucasian-Albanian roots.
